The Flaming Signal is hilariously awful. Hope you can upload it.

By the way, have you decided not to upload "For You I Die"? I was looking forward to that, and I can't find it anywhere else.

I hope THE VAMPIRES GHOST makes the cut. Been looking for that one. If I remember right it was sort of a jungle thriller as well as a vampire flick. It's been about 35 years since I saw that one. But I got a feeling that CATMAN won't, hope I'm wrong on that.

Film Superlist shows "I Was a Communist for the FBI" (1951) renewed as RE12191. Do you have reason to believe that this is an invalid renewal?

Billbarstad checked that for me and told me it was no renewal. I was just going by what he had checked on the copyright.gov page.

Looks like it's been renewed, but with the "F. B. I." spelling used instead of "FBI". The renewal shows up if you just search on http://cocatalog.loc.gov for "I was a communist" instead of the whole title.
Here's the renewal record.

Type of Work: Motion Picture
Registration Number / Date: RE0000012196 / 1979-01-19
Renewal registration for: LP0000000905 / 1951-05-16
Title: I was a communist for the F. B. I. By Warner Brothers Pictures, Inc.
Copyright Claimant: Warner Brothers, Inc. (PWH)
Variant title: I was a communist for the F. B. I.
Names: Warner Brothers Pictures, Inc.

Border Romance is so old that I wasn't able to do an exhaustive search; perhaps it was renewed in 1956.

Since Tango is Danish it may be covered by GATT.
